In 2011, the Department of Asian and Islamic Art History, The University of Bonn, received a substantial donation of 1,600 specialised books on Jaina art and culture from the Pianarosa family in Turin, Italy. The lecture series entitled „Text, Image and Circulation“ celebrates this generous donation, brings renowned scholars to Bonn and draws attention to this new research centres on Jaina culture.
