Jaina Temple in the fort of Hangal

A beautiful Kadamba temple from about the twelfth century is the Jaina Temple in the fort of Hangal. In this structure, a wide open hall with simple porches on three sides leads to a smaller closed hall and then to a shrine. The temple has been decorated with architectural ornamentations of miniature pavilions, simplified temple structures and wall pilasters
