Candranātheśvara Basti

The Candranātheśvara Basti at Bhatkal, dating from the fifteenth to sixteenth centuries but with later additions, has a triple-halled temple layout. The temple used to enshrine three icons in a single elongated image chamber on the ground floor, and two more religious statues in the image chamber (garbha-gr̥ha) on the first floor.

Pārśvanātha Basti

The Pārśvanātha Basti has substantially been rebuilt. It is raised on a shallow platform. In the north-western corner of the compund is a nāga-shrine. A prominent māna-stambha has been raised outside the complex in the east.
